In the course of my survey of J. S. Bach’s Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello which I’ve entitled “Cello in the Time of Bach” in 4 volumes, I also included works by contemporaries of Bach, including Colombi, Gabrieli, Scipriani, Dall’Abaco, Telemann, Barrière, Boccherini and Haydn.
